| EVENT LOCATION: The address for the State Trial grounds is 2698 Stone Church Rd, Dresden, OH 43821 Open Pointing and Open Flushing will each have a 60 dog limit, $200 entry fee with a 50% payback to the top 3 places as well as winner for each field. Prizes (trophies or apparel) will also be awarded for first, second, and third place. If less than 40 dogs, we will run Pointers on Saturday and Flushers on Sunday. More than 40 dogs for either Division then one run will be done on Saturday, and one run on Sunday for all. If there is enough interest, we will also have Amateur events with a 40 dog limit, $110 entry fee and a 50% payback to the top 3 places. We would run 2 amateur events, both on Saturday if Open Pointing is limited to that day or one each day to parallel Open Pointing. No parking on the grass. Violators may be ticketed by ODNR. Kennel runs with barrels and horse corrals on grounds. All participants must leave the grounds at the conclusion of the trial Sunday. No ATVs allowed on the grounds, birds will be planted from horseback, not on their back asleep. Large fields, cover is thick and tall so bell or beeper recommended (2,523 acres). Continue North on State Route 208 and follow for approximately 4.6 miles to Keyes Road. Turn North (right) onto Keyes Road and follow for 1.4 miles to Stone Church Road. Turn West (left) onto Stone Church Road and follow for 1.76 miles to entrance. Rte. 666 is NOT big rig friendly. Do Not take Rt. 666. From the West on US I -70 -Take US Rte 60 to State Rte 208 in Dresden to McLaughlin Hill Rd. (left) and then right on Stone Church Road. This route consists of wider roads with lesser grades. FROM STATE ROUTE 16 take the State Route 60 South Exit (Dresden). Follow SR 60 South for approximately 2.6 miles to State Route 208 at Dresden. Turn East (left) onto SR 208 and follow through the village. When you cross the 208 bridge over the Muskingum River turn North onto SR 208. Follow SR 208 for 2.8 miles to McLaughlin Road (top of hill). Turn North East (left) onto McLaughlin Road and follow for .7 mile to Stone Church Road. Turn East (right) onto Stone Church Road and follow .4 miles to entrance.
