The Billy Ring Classic

Congratulations goes out to Kenny and Mitchell Armstrong on their win at the inaugural "Billy Ring Classic" field trial hosted by the Bama Bird Dog Club in Lincoln, Alabama, November 12th and 13th, 2016.

Phillip Edwards' First Trial Win

Congratulations to Phillip Edwards of Prattville, AL on his first UFTA win. He and his dog Slim bested all the others on September 17th, 2016 at the Chilton County Club trial held in Jemison, Alabama. This is Phillip's first full year competing in UFTA.

2017 UFTA Nationals Youth Trial Update

As announced previously, Tommy Wiley of Wileys RUFFONBIRDS Kennel has generously offered to donate a German Shorthair puppy to support the Youth Division Trial at the 2017 Nationals at Rend Lake Resort in Whittington, IL. Along with that, In conjunction with that, Clay Moose agreed to provide at no charge, one month of training for that pup upon it coming of age.

At the annual meeting of the Board of Directors, the board members approved two new website enhancements.

2017 UFTA Nationals Youth Trial

As many of you know, one of the most entertaining events at our “Nationals” is watching our young competitors run in the Youth Division Trial. We are happy to announce that Tommy Wiley of Wileys RUFFONBIRDS Kennel will the Title Sponsor for this event at the upcoming 2017 Nationals at Rend Lake Resort in Whittington, IL. As such, Tommy will be donating a German Shorthaired Pointer puppy to be used as a giveaway for the event. In conjunction with that, Clay Moose has agreed to provide at no charge, one month of training for that pup upon it coming of age.
